A 19-year-old student was arrested on Thursday after being found with a gun and drugs on the property of Okay High School, according to the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office.

Wagoner County deputies arrested a Broken Arrow man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl three years ago. Investigators say they sent the child’s rape kit to the OSBI crime lab, but due to a backlog, it took years to be tested. They say the results came back just a few weeks ago, and it led them back to Wardell Newsome.
Citizen Fosters Needed For Neglected, Abused Animals In Wagoner County

The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office said it created the "Badges and Paws" program after getting frequent calls about abused and neglected animals. Deputies are urging citizens to become "citizen fosters," which is free of cost.
